In 2008, he became the Chief Lending Officer of the Bank Rhode Island, responsible for all lending activities as well as cash management, business development, and oversaw the operations at Macrolease, Inc., Bank Rhode Island's leasing subsidiary. Prior to joining Bank Rhode Island, Mr. Meiklejohn was a Senior Vice President in middle market lending with Citizens Bank. Mr. Meiklejohn began his career at Fleet Bank in 1985.
