Prior to Air Products, Mr. Bye held management positions at Union Carbide Corporation and Energy Investment, a Boston based energy-consulting firm. His professional and personal passion has been focused on developing and executing value creation strategies for technology and innovation-based businesses, primarily in the industrial and energy sector. During his 35+ year career, he has successfully led and delivered profitable growth for a diverse set of enterprises with strategies spanning the gamut from innovation-based organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, and geographic expansion to extensive operational restructurings.
