Mr. Todd served as a director of DeKalb Bankshares, Inc. and the Bank of Camden, from its inception in 2001 until June 2006. In July 2000, Mr. Todd founded the law firm Roderick M. Todd, Jr. Attorney and Counselor at Law. Formerly, he was a partner in Cooper and Todd, LLP, Attorneys, from 1994 to 2000. Mr. Todd is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Todd has extensive experience in running and operating his own legal practice in Camden, South Carolina. As a prior director of a start-up community bank, he brings additional insights to our board, relative to community bank operations. He has strong ties to the Camden market, which is a market into which we expanded in 2006 through our acquisition of DeKalb Bankshares, Inc.
